Welcome to the MA4SURE project
A PRIMA research project focused on studying the sustainability of agroforestry and mixed farming systems in the Mediterranean by reducing their dependence on external inputs (fertilisers, water, energy, pesticides), increasing natural resource use efficiency and their resilience under climate change.
An interdisciplinary and participatory project
We use a multi-partner approach to study and model the nexus between ecosystem services, biodiversity and the socioeconomic impacts of farming. Our project is envisaged to establish multisectoral partnerships to address the biophysical and socioeconomic evaluation of polyculture farming systems and the service and benefits provided to the society.
